Dieses Buch ist nichts für Neumütter, aber nach einem halben/dreiviertel Jahr ein schönes Geschenk zum 'Auf-die-Schulter-klopfen': ein wildes Potpourri von Erfahrungen, die wohl alle Mütter so oder so ähnlich gemacht haben. Muss immer noch über die wunderbaren Illus lachen, auch wenn ich das Buch schon oft durchblättert hab. Hier und da wirklich den Finger in der Wunde, hat die Künstlerin sehr schön die ungewohnten Situationen eingefangen, in die Neumütter erleben. Ich find's ganz groß.
In einer Zeitschrift habe ich eine Empfehlung für dieses Buch gelesen und es aus Neugierde bestellt. Ich bin selbst vor kurzem Mutter geworden und habe mich schon in vielen der Zeichnungen wiederentdeckt. Den Muttis in meinem Umfeld hat das Buch auch diverse Lacher entlockt. Nach dem Motto..."Ja, genau. Ist mir auch schon passiert." Auch als Geschenk für "Neu-Mütter" hat sich das Buch schon bestens bewährt. Dass es auf englisch ist, finde ich nicht störend.
Verschenke dieses Buch immer wieder gerne an frisch gebackene Mamas, bzw. Eltern, da es gerade die Anfangszeit mit einem Baby mit sehr viel Humor beschreibt - und das ausschließlich durch Bilder, denn zum Lesen hat man ja sowieso keine Zeit. ;-)
... einfach amüsant zu lesen. Jede Illustration - wirklich jede - entspricht den Tatsachen, die sich im 1. Jahr abspielen :-)Klare Kaufempfehlung für jene Mütter und Väter, die über das erste Jahr mit Baby ein bisschen schmunzeln wollen!
Man(n) und Frau müssen sowas schon mögen. Nette Geschichten und gut gezeichnet. Insgesamt gut gemacht. Für Eltern die noch etwas locker in der Erziehung bleiben können.
Jede frischgebackene Mama wird sich hier wiederfinden. Es tut gut auf so humorige Weise daran erinnert zu werden, dass man nicht allein ist mit den täglichen Herausforderungen als Mama.

Ich habe herrlich gelacht! Alle Situationen habe ich so oder so ähnlich selbst erlebt. Schade, dass es das Buch noch nicht mit deutscher Übersetzung gibt. Aber die paar Wörter brauchen dank der treffenden Illustrationen auch keine Erklärungen.
